Practical guide

Update your real estate website through WhatsApp

A message can start preparation. Keeping the website accurate also needs a clear reference, checked facts and approval of the version to be published.

The short answer

In VITRIMO’s proposed workflow, you send useful facts, missing information is requested and a preview is prepared. You approve that exact version before publication checks and release. A message is therefore not instant publication. Availability and scope are confirmed for your service.

Send an identifiable request

First state whether you are creating a listing or correcting an existing one. For a correction, include its reference and ideally its website address. “Replace the second photo of property A-104” is more actionable than “change the apartment photo”. A stable reference helps avoid modifying a similar property.

Describe the expected outcome, separating facts, images and presentation requests. For a new listing, gather verified public facts and images you can publish. Missing or contradictory details should be requested rather than guessed. An estimate does not become confirmed simply because it appears in polished copy.

  • Request type: new listing, correction or withdrawal.
  • Property or article reference and existing link.
  • Facts for publication, with units and verification status.
  • Images to keep, replace or add, in the intended order.
  • Clearly flagged information still to confirm.
  • Authorised person for final approval.

A practical message template

Fictional example, with no real listing or customer data. This message illustrates a simple correction: it identifies the listing, names the change and states what stays. For a new property, add the checked public information required by your agreed listing format.

Avoid sending contradictory messages without saying which replaces the earlier request. If you revise a request, recap the intended changes. This helps keep preparation and review consistent, particularly when several staff members handle one property.

Fictional example — listing correction Reference: DEMO-104. Request: replace the main photo with the attached image cleared for publication. Keep: current text and characteristics. Status: change “available” to “under offer”, confirmed by our team. Please prepare a new preview for approval before publication.

Review and approve the exact preview

A preview lets you read the result in context: title, text, images, status and contact journey. Check facts where an error matters, such as reference, floor area or availability, then check French and English consistency. Attractive images should not distract from inaccurate information.

Approval applies to that exact version. If you request a change, review the new version before publication. “Please prepare the listing” authorises preparation, not automatic release. Publication checks remain necessary after approval; the workflow does not promise instant release when a message arrives.

Separate new content from corrections

The current package presentation counts a new property or article prepared through WhatsApp at its first successful publication. Corrections, updates, withdrawals, duplicates, failed attempts and initial migration are not new publications. Content created directly in the CMS does not consume these WhatsApp credits.

Monthly volumes are proposed and then confirmed in the accepted scope: 10 for Essential, 30 for Activity and an agreed rhythm for Guided growth. Credits do not roll over. If your activity changes, discuss capacity rather than assuming a selected option immediately changes your quota or activates a service.

Keep private documents separate

This message template concerns a public page. Do not add identity documents, financial evidence, applicant files or personal documents to illustrate a listing. Property presentation and a private procedure have different purposes. CNIL’s data minimisation principle calls for personal data to be limited to what is necessary for the intended purpose.

A rental workspace needs its own rules, access and checks before launch. An option in a proposal does not authorise private document collection through WhatsApp or applicant invitations. Describe any special need without sending personal documents first. This guide explains the editorial workflow; it does not approve an application-processing system.

Sources and scope

The workflow follows VITRIMO’s method and proposed scopes. The minimisation reminder links to CNIL principles; it does not replace an assessment of your specific data processing.

Sources checked on 10 October 2026. Illustrative examples contain no real client or property data. Service scope and availability must be confirmed in the accepted proposal.
